Lindy Hume AM PhD is a director and artistic director acknowledged internationally for fresh interpretations of opera and music theatre, and for progressive creative leadership of many Australian arts organisations and festivals. She is known for directing productions that are intelligent yet accessible, boldly theatrical and humanistic. She is recognised as a leading thinker and writer on creative life in regional Australia, and lives in Tathra on the South Coast of NSW and Port Sorell in the North of Tasmania.
